Apply for Your AIM ScholarshipAviation Institute of Maintenance is the largest accredited network of aircraft maintenance technician schools in the United States. As an Imagine America Foundation partner school, AIM students can put $1,000 scholarship awards toward tuition, whether they're graduating high school seniors, adults changing careers, or active-duty, reserve, and veteran military students. Awards are currently available at three AIM campuses: Dallas Metro (Irving, TX), Phoenix, AZ, and Norfolk, VA.
AIM's core Aviation Maintenance Technician program is FAA-approved under 14 CFR Part 147 and prepares students for the Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification exams. Several campuses also offer skilled trades programs in welding, electrical, HVAC, and industrial maintenance.

About Aviation Institute of Maintenance
AIM has trained aircraft maintenance technicians for more than 50 years, and today operates 15 campuses across 13 states, all accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and approved for federal financial aid. Every campus runs the Aviation Maintenance Technician program, a roughly 21-month course that ends with a capstone built around the FAA A&P exams, and AIM's instructors hold FAA A&P certifications themselves.
Campuses are built around real hangars, engine test cells, and avionics labs, with aircraft and turbine engine trainers on site. Many are located next to major airports and maintenance employers, and AIM hosts regular employer visits and career fairs with airlines, MROs, and manufacturers.
Beyond the A&P certificate, select campuses offer an Aviation Maintenance Technical Engineer certificate, associate degrees in Aviation Maintenance Technology, and a two-month Professional Aviation Maintenance Certification for experienced technicians preparing to test. AIM also offers military tuition assistance and works with students using VA education and vocational rehabilitation benefits.
