As the Imagine America Foundation (IAF) celebrates twenty years of supporting students this year, we are excited to show our appreciation for the schools who have been partners with us from the beginning. IAF gets to work with great postsecondary institutions like Lincoln Tech University, who provide career training programs to the students we are dedicated to supporting.

Lincoln Tech has been providing education and training to prepare students for in-demand careers since 1946. What began as a school to serve veterans coming home from overseas tours during World War II is now a 23-campus school providing career training for students all over the country.

The Lincoln Tech brands, including Lincoln Technical Institute, Lincoln College of Technology, Lincoln Culinary Institute, and Euphoria Institute of Beauty Arts & Sciences, offer a wide variety of programs that are designed to prepare students in the fields of automotive, health sciences, culinary, cosmetology, information technology, and beyond.

While Lincoln initially offered programs only in the fields of air conditioning and refrigeration, they soon added automotive courses to prepare mechanics for successful careers. And they didn’t just stop there: with acquisitions, new campuses, new diploma and degree programs, and new support services for students, Lincoln has continued to create a supportive and accessible learning environment for each member of the Lincoln Tech community. Lincoln Tech is also proud to maintain accreditation from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).

Lincoln gives their students the resources they need to succeed at Lincoln Tech, including academic support, resources to succeed beyond the classroom, and financial aid help. Plus, they have a career services department that is committed to helping graduates find jobs in their field after completing their education, including with résumé help, support in building a portfolio, guidance with preparing for the interview process, and more.

Since the Imagine America Foundation started the scholarship and award programs in 1999, thousands of students have been supported with millions of dollars’ worth of tuition discounts nationwide. At Lincoln Tech alone, more than 22,000 students have enrolled with financial help from IAF’s programs.

Automotive

For students seeking work in the automotive field—including auto technology, collision repair, diesel technology, and heavy equipment—Lincoln offers training with ASE-certified instructors. Courses are designed to give students the hands-on knowledge and training they need so that they can prepare to earn their own Automotive Service Excellence certification after graduation.

Skilled Trades

Those who want to find a hands-on career in the skilled trades industry may want to pursue training for CNC machining, in the electrical or electronics field, welding, or heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. With both the knowledge and skills you need to succeed in your field of choice.

Health Sciences

Healthcare professionals often find that they have some of the most rewarding careers. From dental assisting and medical assisting to massage therapy and nursing, medical coding and billing and patient care—graduates of Lincoln Tech’s health sciences programs have the chance to make a difference in the healthcare field.

Culinary

For students who are a natural in the kitchen, they may put their culinary skills to use in a culinary arts or international baking and pastry program at Lincoln Tech. Culinary students can master baking and cooking techniques, enjoy hands-on projects, develop their techniques, and prepare for success in the food service industry.

Spa & Cosmetology

The cosmetology industry can be a great place to work. Students who want to succeed in the fields of cosmetology, aesthetics, and nail technology can prepare for a successful career in spa, salon, and cosmetology environments. With hands-on learning from experienced instructors, the programs at Lincoln can give you the foundation you need.

Information Technology

Today, nearly all industries rely on information technology to ensure businesses, organizations, and processes run smoothly. And for that, they need computer and network support technicians, who can troubleshoot issues, maintain systems, and provide support as needed. Lincoln Tech’s curricula prepares students to do just that with in-demand skills.
