The Imagine America Foundation has established the Russell “Wicker” Freeman Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Imagine America Foundation has established a new scholarship fund to honor the memory of Russell Freeman, who passed away on April 2, 2021. The Russell “Wicker” Freeman Memorial Scholarship will award scholarships to students looking to pursue an education at a career and technical college.
The Russell “Wicker” Freeman Memorial Scholarship award is an outright grant. Although recipients are under no obligation to make repayment, we hope that once students graduate and are engaged in a productive career, they will help honor the memory of Russell Freeman by exhibiting the same incredible work ethic and generosity as Russell did during his lifetime.
The Imagine America Foundation is matching the first $5,000 in donations.
Any contributions made to the Imagine America Foundation’s Russell “Wicker” Freeman Fund are tax-deductible. The Imagine America Foundation 501(c)(3) will be matching the first $5,000 donated to this fund in Russell Freeman’s name. 100% of all outside contributions will go to award scholarships to career college students.
We anticipate the scholarship application process will begin in September 2021. Further instructions on how and where students can apply will be announced over the coming months.
