Career colleges and schools enroll nearly 4 million students in the United States, here are just a few of their success stories.

By receiving the First Imagine American Scholarship it helped me because I could focus on school and not worry about the money that wasn’t covered by loans and grants. I am thankful for Imagine America Foundation for having this scholarship and giving me the chance to stay on track.

Gene Juarez Academy in South Federal Way, WA- I received the imagine America scholarship last year and it was a tremendous help. Every bit of scholarship money that I can get helps so much especially since I will be paying for school by myself with no help from my parents.

Sullivan University in Louisville, KY- I have to thank Imagine America for the dedicated help giving to everyone. Personally, Imagine America helped me with the first scholarship, it was like the starting spark for me, as you all may know it’s hard for a married adult to go back to school financially, especially when he/she has a family to take care of.

Eslam Ebeltagy

2014 Adult Skills Education Program Recipient and 2014 Adult Excellence Award Recipient
ETI Technical College in Niles, OH- I have no help with my schooling, which is something that I am used to. Growing up with just my mom and other siblings I felt like I had to take on a lot of responsibility. Getting this scholarship helped me feel good about myself and that I am on the right path in life. San Joaquin Valley College in Ontario, CA- The Imagine America scholarship has helped me very much and I am grateful that I was honored to receive it last year. It gave me one less weight off my shoulders and I didn't have to worry about my monthly payments in school. It also helped a lot because it just made me concentrate for classes itself and not about saving some money to pay the school payments on time

Culinary Institute of Virginia in Norfolk, VA Imagine America Foundation has helped my pay for college by awarding me a 2014 IAF High School Scholarship so I may pursue an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of Virginia (ECPI University). I will increase my career potential in college through internships, extern ships, and work study programs to gain valuable skills and networking opportunities. I will continually strive for excellence, join professional chef organizations to continue mastering the culinary arts, and serve others throughout this process of learning, growing, and living.

John Ruane

2014 High School Scholarship Recipient and 2015 Promise Award Recipient
West Virginia Junior College in Bridgeport, WV I’m so grateful for the scholarship, because not only did it take some costs off of my college expenses, but it helped take stress off of me and my family. This scholarship has been a blessing, because my family is not a wealthy one. I am the first to attend college in my family, and stick with it. With that in mind my family does not make a lot of money, and so paying for a college degree was more than likely going to be nearly impossible. I am extremely proud of myself for doing well in my classes, and without this scholarship I wouldn’t have made it this far.

Chase Murphy

2014 High School Scholarship Recipient and 2015 Promise Award Recipient
Universal Technical Institute in Lisle, IL Receiving the 2014 Imagine America High School Scholarship has been a vital start to helping me manage my tuition responsibilities. Paying for an education can be expensive and an over whelming experience at such a young age. Being awarded this scholarship has helped me to stay focused on my goals and helped bring me one step closer to achieve my career as a diesel technician. It has given me a vision to pursue my passion.

2014 High School Scholarship Recipient and 2015 Promise Award Recipient
My high school scholarship was mainly used to pay for my books, tools, and steel-toed boots. The tools that the scholarship covered are the tools that I use every day that are essential to successfully weld. The scholarship also paid for the proper boots so that I could make safety a top priority.
