I received the imagine America scholarship last year and it was a tremendous help.  Every bit of scholarship money that I can get helps so much especially since I will be paying for school by myself with no help from my parents. Click Here to read more.

I have to thank Imagine America for the dedicated help giving to everyone. Personally, Imagine America helped me with the first scholarship, it was like the starting spark for me, as you all may know it’s hard for a married adult to go back to school financially, especially when he/she has a family to take care of. I have no help with my schooling, which is something that I am used to. Growing up with just my mom and other siblings I felt like I had to take on a lot of responsibility. Getting this scholarship helped me feel good about myself and that I am on the right path in life. Click Here to read more.

The Imagine America scholarship has helped me very much and I am grateful that I was honored to receive it last year. It gave me one less weight off my shoulders and I didn't have to worry about my monthly payments in school. It also helped a lot because it just made me concentrate for classes itself and not about saving some money to pay the school payments on time. Click Here to read more.

West Virginia Junior College in Bridgeport, WV
I’m so grateful for the scholarship, because not only did it take some costs off of my college expenses, but it helped take stress off of me and my family.
This scholarship has been a blessing, because my family is not a wealthy one. I am the first to attend college in my family, and stick with it. With that in mind my family does not make a lot of money, and so paying for a college degree was more than likely going to be nearly impossible. I am extremely proud of myself for doing well in my classes, and without this scholarship I wouldn’t have made it this far.

My current position has furthered my experience as well as my determination. I am very excited to continue gaining exposure and knowledge in other areas as they become available to me. AS a recipient of the 2013 Imagine America Scholarship, my financial burden was lightened.

Brad Garman
2015 Promise Award Recipient and 2014 High School Scholarship Recipient
ETI Technical College in Niles, OH
My high school scholarship was mainly used to pay for my books, tools, and steel-toed boots. The tools that the scholarship covered are the tools that I use every day that are essential to successfully weld. The scholarship also paid for the proper boots so that I could make safety a top priority.

Jose Pacheco
2015 Promise Award Reipient and 2014 High School Scholarship Recipient
Universal Technical Institute- Avondale, AZ

This scholarship has helped my parents and I pay for my school. It has been extremely helpful since I am not eligible to receive federal funding from the government or a Pell Grant. It has also given me more ambition to prove to my town and the people who gave me scholarships that I can graduate from college and make them proud.

Receiving the Imagine America ASEP Award was just the motivation I needed. When I received the Imagine America $1,000 award it showed me that there are people out there who truly believe in others succeeding. I come from a 1-income household and receiving the scholarship meant the world to me. I was able to start my medical program earlier than having to wait until I saved up more money to pay for the program.

Dear Mr. Martin,

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to you and the Imagine America Foundation for selecting me as a recipient of your most generous gift of $1000 for the Imagine America High School Scholarship.  I am truly delighted that you have selected me with this honor and for that I am deeply grateful.

I have always been interested in art and design.  I am planning to major in Interior Design at The Illinois Institute of Art – Tinley Park, Illinois.  My goal is to become a licensed interior designer and to someday have my own interior design business.  The financial support you have bestowed on my behalf will be of immense help to me in paying my educational expenses.  Thanks to you and your assistance, I am one more step closer to that goal.

The Imagine America High School Scholarship you have awarded me will help decrease my financial obligation which will allow me to concentrate on the most important aspect of education, learning.  I am inspired by your generosity and will work very hard to assist others and give back to the community.  As I venture through my studies, professional career and life, I hope one day I will be able to help students achieve their goals just as you have helped me.

Thank you again for your generosity.

Lauren Granato, 2012 Imagine America High School Recipient

Dear Mr. Martin,

I would like to thank you for awarding me the 2012 Imagine America Scholarship.

Thank you again for the support.

Cameron Creamer, 2011 IA High School Scholarship Recipient

Dear Ms. Faubert

How are you, its been awhile since I have spoken to you in Las Vegas NV. I was the one of the seven who won the Imagine America Foundation award in 2008. I just wanted to let you know, with the help of the scholarship your organization gave to me. I was able to finished my Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. My wife and I also have a 19 month old son (David) who I named after my tank commander (SSG D. Julian) who has past away.

I just want to say Thank you again and your organization to help achieve my goals. But more importantly, encouragement that I can succeeded.

Sokmaly Prak, 2008 LDRSHIP Award Recipient

Imagine America Foundation,

It’s hard to express emotions in words and even when you’re able to find those words they can sound generic and insincere. By receiving the Imagine America Scholarship, my family can take a breath, I can focus on school and my education is secure. Not only is this scholarship an amazing gift towards my education, but it will also benefit my future family.

In America there are many opportunities, but in order to make the most out of your choices education is mandatory.  Miami-Jacobs Career College will provide me with the training I need to become a Certified Surgical Technologist which I will use to help people in need. The generous donation towards my education from the Imagine America Scholarship will in turn save many lives. Upon receiving my associates’ degree, I hope to become a part of the James Cancer Center team at the Ohio State University.

Saying thank you isn’t enough. Trying to express my gratitude is impossible. By writing this letter, I hope to inform you that the blessing you have given to me will be shared with hundreds if not thousands of cancer patients. By giving me this gift for my future, I can use my knowledge to give others a new beginning and family’s new hope.

Sydney Washek, 2011 Imagine America High School Recipient

Dear Mr. Martin,

Thank you for your generous contribution that you and your organization has made to my continual pursuit for educational-growth and leadership development. I am a very dedicated and passionate woman with a mission of becoming a successful leader in the classic culinary world as a head chef. My vision is to have my own restaurant in the heart of New York City created around one secret recipe: unforgettable experiences.

I am humble and grateful to have received the 2011 Imagine America Adults Skills Education Program (ASEP) award. Your financial assistance enables me to be a step closer to accomplish my vision.

Thank you Imagine America!

Yulia McLarney, 2011 ASEP Recipient

Mr. Martin:
I wanted to thank you personally and to thank Imagine-America for the scholarship award.  I am truly grateful for the amount you have granted me in scholarship funds.  I am looking forward to my education at InTellitec College in Grand Junction, CO and am excited about the new career path and opportunities that will be in my future.  Imagine-America has helped facilitate that future.
Many thanks,

Patricia Phelps, 2011 ASEP Recipient

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for being awarded the Imagine America Scholarship in the amount of $1,000.  To be chosen for this scholarship is a blessing for which I will always be thankful.  It is with much appreciation that I write this letter of gratitude.

Nathan Conner, 2011 Imagine America high school recipient

Throughout my youth, I have always looked forward to a career in the field of automotive and diesel technology. I made that dream a reality in the spring of my junior year, by completing all of the required paperwork necessary to attend UTI. Currently I am working full time at Oasis Auto, where I am learning valuable hands on training specializing in Mercedes, Volkswagens, and Porsche-Audi. Because of this opportunity to work at Oasis Auto I am more certain then ever of my career choice. I look forward to starting classes on August 1, 2011.

Without a doubt, this scholarship will play a key role in achieving my educational dreams. I appreciate your confidence in me and willingness to contribute to my future education. Thank you again for your generosity. I look forward to the time that I can help others as you have helped me.
