The Imagine America Foundation's Imagine America Scholarship Program is open to any private postsecondary institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Each participating career college pays a small annual participation fee. Individual scholarships are supported by the institution.
More than 500 career colleges and schools are now enrolled in the program. To date, more than 32,000 Imagine America scholarships have been awarded.
In addition to attracting new students to your school, your small contribution will go to support an innovative public awareness program which will bring long overdue recognition to the important role our institutions play in providing education and training for the workforce. Through that exposure, more counselors, parents and students will consider career training and education.
During the first eight years of the Imagine America Scholarship Program, a high percentage of students (nearly half) chose to attend career colleges outside of their local community or state.
The costs of running and promoting Imagine America Foundation's programs outside the Career College Association (CCA) membership are higher since these costs are not maintained by CCA.
No, the Imagine America Foundation's Imagine America program offers a one-time, non-renewable scholarship only to graduating high school seniors.
You decide based on your institution's willingness to honor as many scholarship students as you wish. The web-based Imagine America Scholarship Program will allow each participating career college to easily manage and direct their own scholarships.
The Imagine America Foundation's Imagine America Military Award Program (MAP) is open to any private postsecondary institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Each participating career college pays an annual participation fee. The institution the student will attend supports the individual MAP awards.
More than 250 career colleges and schools are now enrolled in the program. To date, more than 1,200 Imagine America MAP awards have been awarded.
In addition to attracting new students to your college, your contribution will support an innovative new aid program that recognizes the important contribution of our country's active duty and honorably discharged armed forces.
The Imagine America Foundation has forged an innovative strategic alliance with Military.com, the largest armed services affinity organization in the United States, to assist in publicizing this program. This innovative alliance will inform more than 3 million members of Military.com of the availability of the MAP awards through its web site, www.military.com.
The benefits of membership in the Career College Association (CCA) include reduced rates for programs like MAP. Non-member colleges pay the full program costs.
No, all MAP awards are one-time, non-renewable grants provided to entering, first-year students.
You decide the total number of MAP awards to give to students attending your college each year. Our innovative web-based MAP program allows each participating career college to easily manage and direct their own award program. However, we suggest that each participating career college offer a minimum of 15 MAP awards for each program year.
The Imagine America Foundation's Imagine America Online (IA) awards program is open to any private postsecondary institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Each IA Online applicant must complete the Imagine America Online Student Assessment with satisfactory results.
There is no cost for the award to the prospective student. Each participating career college pays a modest annual participation fee. The institution which the student attends supports the individual IA Online awards.
To see a list of all participating IA Online colleges/schools, please visit our web site, www.imagine-america.org.
In addition to attracting new students to your school, your modest contribution will support an innovative new aid program that recognizes the importance of continued education for adults.
The costs of running and promoting the Imagine America programs outside the Career College Association (CCA) membership are higher since these costs are not maintained by CCA.
No, the Imagine America Online program offers a one-time, non-renewable, non-transferable scholarship to students.
You decide the total number of IA Online awards given to students attending your college each year. Our innovative web-based IA Online program allows each participating college to easily manage and direct their own awards program. We do suggest that each participating career college offer at least 15 IA Online awards each program year.
