Supporting the Foundation Helps Prepare Students for the 21st Century Workforce!

By Torian Brown

The Imagine America Foundation (IAF) continues to be successful in its activities: scholarships, research and training. The Foundation’s success is largely due to financial support from the contributors and supporters of the 21st Century Workforce Fund. These contributors and supporters consist of career colleges, school owners, foundations, companies and individuals that understand the importance of the career college sector.

The 21st Century Workforce Fund is committed to financing and initiating programs that will educate America’s 21st century workforce and prepare them for changes in our global economy. The Fund will also serve as one of the career college sector’s most important tools in helping students obtain a competitive education for the job marketplace.

One of the goals for the 21st Century Workforce Fund is to conduct research that elevates the public understanding of the vital role of career colleges and their students nationwide. In 2008, the Foundation, through financial support from the 21st Century Workforce Fund, initiated research studies focusing on the impact of career colleges, their role in meeting the nation’s current skilled-worker shortage and other broad public policy issues facing the higher education sector.

IAF would like to take the time to thank all the contributors and supporters of the 21st Century Workforce Fund.
