Privacy Policy
Career Colleges and Career Schools
In order for career colleges and career schools to participate in the Imagine America Scholarship Program,
they must meet the following requirements:
- Must be accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
- Must register and pay a participation fee
- Should determine, in advance, how many Imagine America scholarships
they will accept in a program year
- Acknowledge the availability of Imagine America scholarships,
and then agree to honor scholarship certificates presented in a timely
manner by qualified student(s)
- Participating career colleges reserve the right to prorate the scholarship
award over more than one (1) payment period/quarter/semester
- Must notify high school counselors of approval/unavailability

School Counselors and Principals
High school counselors and principals have an opportunity to recommend deserving
students for Imagine America scholarships by doing the following:
- Identify and inform all eligible students of scholarship opportunities
- Select scholarship recipient(s) based on the recommended guidelines:
- Likelihood of successful completion of postsecondary education
- High school grade point average of 2.5 or greater
- Financial need
- Demonstrated voluntary community service during senior year
- Submit no more than three (3) nominees per program year
- Notify student/parent of approval/unavailability

Students and Parents
Finding money for college is not impossible. The Imagine America Scholarship Program makes
it easy for high school graduates to continue their education. Students must meet the following requirements
to participate:
- Imagine America scholarship certificates may be issued to students
attending any career college participating in the Imagine America
Scholarship Program
- Must meet that career college's standard entrance requirements for
the requested program of study
- Must enroll at the specified career school, in their selected course
of study, within the time designated
- The annual scholarship deadline is December 31st
- Student may begin applying for this scholarship on January 1st of their graduating year
All Imagine America scholarship certificates are non-transferable, non-negotiable, non-refundable
and have no cash value.
